At Energy Hair we are passionate about giving you fantastic hair and making sure you leave looking and feeling great, but what you may not know is that we are also extremely passionate about doing things in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. We carefully consider every part of our process, the products we choose and the way we do things to make sure our carbon footprint is as small as possible, here are just a few examples of how we keep things sustainable.

The Salon Fixtures and Fittings

The new salon was built with the aim of providing a fresh and luxury experience, but consideration was made at every stage for the environmental impact of the salon. Each fixture and fitting, including the washing stations, lighting and styling areas use the most sustainable materials.

Using good quality styling products is a must for any salon, we have all of the state of the art styling electronics, but will always aim where possible to select options that utilise the least electricity and boast the best energy efficiency.

As you will see from the next section of this article, minimising the use of non recyclable plastics is a key aim for us. The products we sell in the salon and online including Kerastase and Keune all use recyclable plastic materials for packaging. At Energy Hair we are also working on the idea of a refill service, so when you buy your products you can save money and help the environment by opting for a refill.

Away from the Salon

Away from the salon, Nathan and his family are leading the way for restricting the use of plastics in the household, with ‘The Plastic Bottle challenge’, a challenge where the aim is to go without using plastic for 1 year.
